CDS Security can provide Access Control Systems for many types of buildings and applications. These systems can range from a single door access system with keypad entry through to systems that will only allow key personnel access to their relevant parts of the building and time/personnel management.
Systems include Keypad Access Terminals, Cardswipe Units, Proximity Units for single level or multi level access or a mixture of all if required, depending on individual applications or circumstances.
An Access System can be interfaced with Intruder Alarms to enable automatic setting/un-setting of individual areas/buildings. PC controlled Access Systems can also be used for time and attendance reasons and fire system roll call purposes.
All access systems are designed, installed and maintained to NACOSS GOLD (NSI) Code’s of Practice and relevant British Standards to ensure fail-safe operation in the event of a power failure situation, where access from the building would be a priority.
Access Control systems significantly reduce the security risk to both personnel and the theft of portable items of considerable value (e.g. laptop computers). ‘Walk-in’ theft is an increasing security problem to most businesses, and can occur without reception staff being aware of an unauthorised person on the premises. |
