In 2019, we were welcomed onboard to provide our expert services in connection with the Construction of the new Bellway Homes Headquarters Building, located at Newcastle Airports new business park.
The North East based housing developer is the first business to the Airport Business Park site. Bellway have designed the new energy-efficient building which includes conference rooms, high-end training facilities and large office spaces spanning across 3 floors.
What they needed?
Working for KM Electrical Services Limited and Bowmer & Kirkland Construction as sub-contractors, we supplied, installed, tested and commissioned a Honeywell Gent fully addressable fire alarm system. This also included disabled refuge & toilet alarm systems, IP CCTV systems, Grade 3 Intruder alarm systems, and Paxton NET2 entry access control systems to external and integral parts of the building including car park barrier systems.
Once the building is fully operational, it is expected that over 100 office staff will work within the new building – making our responsibilities even bigger and better! What’s more, the Airport Business Park is set to create around 2,000 jobs upon total completion of all phases, and will have significant benefits in the North East.
