Belsay Hall is a gorgeous country house located in Belsay in Northumberland, built to supersede Belsay Castle. It is often regarded as the first British country house to be built in the Greek revival style in its entirety.
For this reason, Belsay Hall is a Grade I listed building. With any listed building, it is crucial to make sure that all the rules and regulations are followed to a tee, and the expert team here at CDS Security & Fire had no problem rising to the challenge!
What they needed?
The new Belsay Hall Toilet block required a small wireless radio fire alarm system fully connected and networked to their entire site. Therefore, we installed the EMS Radio Fire Alarm System, otherwise known as FireCell, which is a comprehensive analogue addressable radio wireless fire detection solution.
This system has a set of features that make it one of the most advanced fire detection systems available, all without the need for a cable, making it perfect for the installation across Belsay Hall.
Where they had any existing EMS panels, we also allowed for firmware upgrades to update them to the newest software. This allowed us to seamlessly link all the panels into one efficient wireless fire alarm system and network.
