James Jones & Sons Ltd is a family-owned forest products company operating from 24 locations strategically located around the UK.
Following the planning permission approval of a 55,000-square-foot site renovation, James Jones & Sons is expanding its facilities at its Hetton site. The business is expanding and redeveloping its premises into a green facility that will include the installation of a new biomass boiler which their own recycled timber will fuel. This is part of the company’s mission to become more environmentally friendly and reduce carbon emissions.
What they needed?
Following approval for its 55,000 sq ft site redevelopment, James Jones not only needed its new facility to be as green and eco-friendly as possible, but it also needed to ensure it met the highest safety standards and was highly secure.
In order to ensure its redeveloped Hetton site met all necessary fire safety and security requirements, James Jones & Sons needed brand new Fire Alarms, Access Control systems and Assistance Call systems installed.
